For the top picture, it looks like theres a white square above the green building in the background obscuring something - does anyone have any ideas on what this might be? The pic was taken at Dachang/Shanghai airbase, and the Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Company, which repairs JH-7s and H-6s is right next to it.Boarding KQ-200:

Why exactly do they practice anti-submarine munitions against targets on land? Is there a reason for this?
But how can you measure how far the mines veered from the target? Unless you recover the dummy mines from the sea too much work. On the land you know exactly how accurate it your targeting and dropping at the targetI'm pretty sure you can use buoys for that. It can be tied down too.
