What exactly does using fully domestic chips mean? All chips in the KJ-500? Are chip designs entirely indigenous? Or does "domestic" denote all-Chinese manufacturing? A hodgepodge of everything?

It may be within PRC capability to design the relevant chips, but the question is did they design it, or just manufacture them with existing foreign designs? I'm not trying to gen up an argument, I just want clarification on what "fully domestic" means. I would imagine all the critical military stuff in China would be using Loongson CPUs.
You probably can play it, maybe not now but quite soon. Loongson has inbuilt x86 binary translation.Loongson, ShenWei or more likely special purpose processors, custom designed for the military. Off-course you won't be able to play Crysis on these
