This magazine is managed by CSSC a ship building company controlled by the central government in Beijing, . I will give it benefit of doubts on the diagram published. However, bear in mind that they will not show any sensitive part of the aircraft.

CSSC controls shipyards that build DDG/ FFG/ Submarine etc. for PLAN.

Ok, seems 3/4 torpedoes* in 2 internal bays. In green, in brown ? still a little surprising P-8 more bit get only a internal bay with 5 hard points.

Its lower fuselage in the mid-section of the aircraft was modified extensively to house an internal bomb bay for carrying depth charges, light torpedos even AShMs (e.g. Yu-7K & YJ-83K)

For PLAN Aviation, actually have only 3 MPA SH-5 !!! finaly reinforcements begin to come...

Helo ASW number also remains low, not enough to equip all vessels.
While she has about 300 fighters/Bombers in more 8 AWACS all modern while PLAF have again about 1200 J-7/Q-5/first J-8, 60 % of total.

The KJ-500 AWACS is doing well with entry into PLAAF and PLAN

Great AWACS and no doubt will bring a lot of new capability to warfare

Guys, we have a specific forum for pictures only, and specific threads in that forum for the PLAAF, PLAN,PLA, etc.

Please post individual pictures, or several only to those threads.

If you add a header linked to an article and then quote part of that article with specific information about the picture, you may post it in the specific equipment threads. Or, if you have some specific observations about the picture related to the equipment being discussed in the thread, and make those comments with the picture, you can also post it in the thread.

Otherwise, post pictures only to the picture/video threads. I will begin deleting pictures only from these threads if they have no comments or information with them,.
