There is no double standard here.

While the Chinese government is in a position to directly deter, investigate and prosecute CI threats within its sovereign territory occupied by its citizenry of 1.4 billion, the Chinese government does not carry the same authority over Pakistan's population of 250 million.

You can't trust what you can't control.

No it's not.

What has happened to this thread?
J-10CE has considerably worse radar and onboard ECM compared to J-16 and J-16D. This leap in radar and ECM tech would be at least 1 generation.

J-20 and J-35 use radar and electronics at least one generation ahead of J-16. Granted there is no dedicated 5th gen EW aircraft that we know of, it still represents a generation leap ahead of J-16's sub-systems.

This is already two generations of sub-systems. J-36 and J-50 sub-systems is currently being tested. They exist. They're not flying airframe demonstrators around, they are flying prototypes and their electronic sub-systems are at least developed concurrently if not a step ahead.

PL-15 has already been replaced by PL-16. There were hints several months ago that PLAAF has begin testing PL-16 and PL-17 successors. PL-15 is two generations behind PL-16's successor and while PL-17 is another type of missile, its successor is reportedly in testing.

I don't care to entertain the rest of your thoughts. I've given the above and you can take it or leave it.

And what is your source for this? J-16 has a larger and more powerful array sure but there is no generational technological gap as you seem to suggest. Furthermore what is the logic behind bringing J-16D in this comparison? it has a completely different role.

PL-15 has certainly not been replaced by PL-16. PL-15 will remain in service and mainstay missile for a long time even after PL-16 has entered service. You don't just throw out less than 10 year old missiles especially considering PL-15 is still more than competitive enough.

To sum up my argument, I think you are getting a bit ahead of yourself by proclaiming that PLAAF today is 2 generations ahead of J-10CE and PL-15. If you said 1 generation ahead, I wouldn't have objected.
