They did the same thing few years ago by spreading rumors that 70% of the JF-17 fleet is grounded due to spare parts issue which was then picked up by Western news. I hope mods remove these unsubstantiated posts and clean up the thread unless a verified/credible source is provided.

I've been seeing these bots waging this hybrid war all over the ENGLISH SPEAKING internet in the past week. Timing is exactly aligned with time India's May military humiliation peaking in late August and India's humiliation as it was shown to the world being abused by the US and quietly crawling to China on its knees.
Not only on SDF, in fact their efforts mostly avoid SDF because the collective intelligence and knowledge on this forum is easily heads and shoulders above the general cesspit internet. Making it a bit harder to get victims. Similar to how Indian scammers intentionally include errors in their phishing attempts to weed out the wary. Anyway all this nonsense playing each other off is particularly rife on facebook, twitter, youtube and other military forums.
Their tactics involve exploiting egos and pride, especially effective against people of weaker composure.

lol okay true but it's fascinating how effective this sort of stuff can be. They know what people are sensitive about and prod exactly those nerves. You can see it trigger the desired effect in just the last few pages. Indians are cunning scammers in this way but can't figure out how to engineer a fucking basic ass rifle if their lives depended on it.

The issue here isn't whether China can or can't trust Pakistan, or what Chinese media got to say on Sino-Pakistani relations.
The Chinese government has an obligation to its constituents — the Chinese people — to safeguard key Chinese defense technologies, including from threat actors by way of Pakistan.
This isn't necessarily to say the Pakistani state or military is currently engaged in institutional backstabbing against China, but the inevitable reality is when you're dealing with a country of ~250 million, there will inevitably be a few "bad apples" to be wary of and to prepare for.

While Indian information operations are obviously at play here, there's no denying Pakistani access to sophisticated Chinese weapons systems represent an inevitable and natural attack surface.
There's a reason why the PAF was given access to the PL-15E rather than the PL-15.
Well. The good news is that there's no need to risk supplying Pakistan with anything more advanced than just what is needed to maintain their edge over India. And given India is not about to obtain 5th gen fighters anytime soon, probably not even within the next 20 years, there's no real rush to risk supplying Pakistan with J35 or missiles better than the PL-15E. Hence throttling the risk of tech leaking to Turkey or elsewhere. By the time India has the tech to threaten Pakistan from the air again, China will have long since moved on from the J35 and any related tech, and can transfer a manufacturing line over to Pakistan to keep India in an inferior position. At the end of the day, this is all just a military tech race, and it is obvious China is running while India is barely walking.
Whatever missile PAF received would have been called PL-15E, because well, it's export. Just like J-10C is called J-10CE and HQ-9B HQ-9BE. You or me have no idea how PAF's PL-15Es differ from PLAAF's if at all.
