India threatens to 'INVADE PAKISTAN' in shock warning as World War 3 fears escalate

India has threatened to invade Pakistan in a dramatic rise in rhetoric as the two countries continue a vicious border dispute, it has been reported.

India’s Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, accused the neighbouring country of giving legitimacy to terrorism and warned New Delhi security forces would be willing to cross the border to protect the country’s territory.

Tensions in region are high, with the two nations both claiming they should have control of the Jammu and Kashmir regions, leading to a bitter dispute.

He said: “We will not only secure India internally but can also cross border, if needed, to protect the country.”

Heavy exchanges of shelling have increased over the past 12 months with both countries accusing the other of being responsible.

Mr Singh accused Pakistani militant Hafiz Saeed of being a terrorist and said the country was focused on giving him “political legitimacy” rather than working for peace.

He also vowed Kashmir would always be a part of India.

The politician said: “Kashmir was with India, Kashmir is with India and it will remain with India forever.

“Kashmir's children are like my own and would not allow anyone to radicalise them.”

Mr Singh made his comments at the ‘Rising India’ summit, organised by News18.

The Indo-Pakistani Wars of 1947 and 1965 both revolved around competing claims for the area.

The United Nations have encouraged the pair to take part in talks in a plea for the violence on the border to be de-escalated.

Pakistan Foreign Minister, Khawaja Asif has previously accused New Delhi for the diplomatic fall-out.

In January he said: “We have consistently strived to maintain a close, cordial and mutually supportive relationship with our neighbouring countries.

“It is unfortunate that India responds to Pakistan's friendly moves with hostility.”

However, New Delhi has argued the opposite.

India Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared last month: “Pakistan is expanding the arc of terror resorting to ceasefire violations (on the border) to assist infiltration.”

It would be very foolish for India to get belligerent now, right after mentally and logistically preparing China for armed conflict with the Doklam fiasco. No telling how much territory India will end up ceding if they start a fight with Pakistan and China.

Vice President Mike Pence has told Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahid Khaqani Abbasi that his country "must do more" against Taliban and other terror groups, the White House said today.

Pence said this to Abbasi, who was on a personal trip this week to see his ailing sister. They met at the Naval Observatory residence of Pence on Friday. The meeting was held at the request of Abbasi.

According to the Dawn newspaper, which reported first reported about the meeting, Pence told the Pakistani Prime Minister that the Trump Administration could take unilateral actions if there was no satisfactory counter-terrorism action from Pakistan.

During the 30-minute meeting, Pence also emphasised the need for immediate action from Pakistan to stop cross-border attacks, the Dawn reported.

In his final speech to Air Headquarters, the outgoing Chief of Air Staff (CAS) of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Sohail Aman announced that the design of the JF-17 Block-III was finalized after a period of “two-and-a-half years”.

KARACHI SHIPYARDS & ENGINEERING WORKS DELIVERS TWO DAMEN STAN PATROL 1605 FRP PATROL BOATS TO PAKISTAN CUSTOMS...

Pakistan Customs has taken delivery of two Damen Stan Patrol 1605 FRP patrol boats. The handover ceremony took place on 10th March at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd (KS&EW). The celebration was attended by distinguished guests including Dr Miftah Ismail, advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue & Economic Affairs, Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed, Collector Pakistan Customs, Rear Admiral Syed Hasan Nasir Shah, Managing Director of KS&EW and Mrs. Ardi Stoios-Braken, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The vessels were built by KS&EW with technical and material support from Damen. The entire project took just eight months and was completed successfully thanks to the high level of cooperation and trust between the two partners. The patrolling boats shall be used for monitoring and enforcement activities in Pakistan’s territorial waters.

KS&EW received the order for the two Stan Patrol 1605 FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) craft from the Pakistan Customs in July last year. The bid was supported by Damen’s Technical Cooperation (DTC) programme, which cooperates with shipyards around the world.

Damen supplied prefabricated material kits along with the hulls to KS&EW. Knowledge transfer was also an integral part of the DTC programme, and for this project KS&EW production staff went to Damen Antalya for training in working with FRP by Damen’s experienced trainers. Technicians from Damen Antalya also travelled to Karachi to transfer knowledge during the production and testing phases.

These are the first Damen vessels to be built for Pakistan Customs, however KS&EW and Damen have a long history of working together. This has resulted in the delivery of four Damen Stan Tug 1605s for the Pakistan Navy and two more of the same type to the Karachi Port Trust, plus a Damen Multi Cat 1908, also for the Karachi Port Trust. The delivery of the two SPa 1605 FRPs to Pakistan Customs completes this order, however the agency is considering an expansion of their fleet in the future.

“It has been a great pleasure working with KS&EW once again,” said sales manager Teun Haverkort. “Our two companies have built a close relationship over the years and together we have combined Pakistan craftsmanship and Damen expertise to deliver a series of advanced vessels to leading Pakistan organisations. This latest project has been a great success and we look forward to cooperating again in the near future. We offer a wide variety of proven vessels under the DTC programme, ideal for all types of port and terminal, security and dredging activities.”

She exported USD 33.6 billion worth of military hardware in 2016.



In a similar fashion, thousands of miles away, a resilient nation called Pakistan, with a colonial past and no industrial base to inherit, in just few decades has made great strides in leaving its mark as one of the most professional arms industries in the world.


This inconceivable journey that began in Pakistan Ordnance Factories in 1951 soon transformed into a state-of-the-art set of modern factories. These public-private industrial bases have the capacity to build high quality international standard defence equipment and are fully capable of competing with other nations in the global arms markets. Marcus Aurelius, an eminent Roman emperor said, “A man’s worth is no greater than his ambitions.” In Pakistan’s case, as a nation, it has proved that despite being a developing country it can achieve ambitions higher than that one can dream of.





The latest multi-role fighter jet JF-17 Thunder, an emblem of Pakistan’s indigenous engineering masterpiece, has become the centre of attention at the military expo shows around the globe. The success is so profound that Pakistan has already won numerous export orders from various Middle Eastern countries. The target to boost defence exports tenfold from $68 million to $1 billion by 2019 seems plausible as Pakistan’s reputation in the defence industry is second to none. Even Lt Gen Sarath Chand, Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) of Indian Army, realizes the brilliance and technical superiority of Pakistan’s military complex. He strongly criticized the technological outdatedness of Indian defence industry compared to Pakistan’s. India’s failed 33 years old Tejas jet project is one manifestation of the complexity and advancement required to assemble jets. No doubt Pakistan has made it to the unique club of countries, which are capable of producing jets.





Furthermore, the recent testing of the new variant of JF-17 called the JF-17B with dual-seat capability has grabbed international attention. The project is taking Pakistan one step closer to becoming an expert at manufacturing advanced combat-ready warplanes in South Asia. The plane is not only capable of striking ground targets but also facilitates in training new pilots. JF-17B is considered to be the best trainer jet in the international market. Its price competitiveness is unmatchable and poses a threat to other players in the arms industry. Many countries in the world still rely on stimulators to train their pilots but after the introduction of this cost-effective jet, world air forces will be more willing to invest in their pilots’ technical training. This would open new markets for Pakistani jets. It is more likely to follow the same trajectory of its successful counterpart JF-17. Pakistan Air Force is expecting to introduce the jet next year which would further strengthen Air Force’s defence capability and reduce its dependency on foreign military machines.
