As mentioned, this project was deliberately included in CPEC for mentioned reasons....

Several projects are in pipeline such as ML-1 project (8 Billion $) for Railway plus motorways/highways projects are completed and some are under progress.... visit my CPEC thread (though I haven't updated in recent times)....

How's the utilities infrastructure like water/eletric/sewage/garbage? Those are important things that india neglects and plagues their high rises to this day.

Have you got comprehension issues? Repeating the "corruptions" etc. Doesn't answer my question or address what I said.

Yes yes, I got it. Pakistan is corrupt. The contract is corrupt. But it's the Pakistani' s government responsibility for that.

I never said it wasn't. I simply said China delivered the goods on time and on budget. So please stop. Stop with this nonsense. It's not China's fault.

Where did I mentioned that China or Chinese companies involved in this contract corruption or this project was delayed or construction was sub-standard....

What I said was very simple, that this project was deliberately included in CPEC due to previous govt's mal-intent & it wasn't meant to serve the masses & economically not viable .....

Let rest to decide who has comprehension issues ......

He wasn't saying it was China's fault either, he was blaming the PMLN govt for sneaking this project into CPEC in order to personally profit from it. Point being: This particular project shouldn't be used to highlight CPEC overall. CPEC is a much larger strategic effort.

The situation isn't perfect, but it's not comparable to India. Pakistan is much cleaner and there is far less poverty (24% vs 60% in India.) You can ask those who have visited both countries. I've never visited India, but the stories I've heard are pretty bad. Even Trump (their 'ally') said things that were... less than flattering.

Nope .... this project is the most controversial project where Sharief brothers ate a big chunk in local tenders/land acquiring etc ....

The 27-kilometre metro to costed 251.06 billion Rupees($1.6 billion), out of which 47.07 billion Rupees($300 million) coming from the Federal Government of Pakistan, the rest is financed through soft loans by the Government of China.

On top of the cost current govt has to give subsidy on tickets in order keep running the project....

Well, it's the "Nope" bit! What does this Nope refer to? When one says Nope to a reply in English. It usually as a rebuff to the previous statement. And since I've said nothing about corruption or back handers. It only leaves me to think it is a Nope to my statement of being on time and on budget. Because that's the only things I said. You need to be clear!

In English, we normally would say in reply to my statement:

Ah "yeah". But what about the corruption?

Instead of "Nope...." this project is...... And so on.

And then it took me two more replies to ascertain he is not really replying to me at all. He just making a statement about corruption! Gee. Please be clear.
