That's why they don't want China hosting the Olympics anymore...

The boat parade is different but it was like watching the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. During the London Olympics post Beijing 2008 they on purpose made it chaotic because they wanted to think they weren't coordinated automatons like the Chinese. Here they were only concerned with the TV audience because that's how it was framed like you were watching TV. In both cases it just said they weren't capable of putting on a coordinated show made for a large audience.
They know that none of the western nations could ever host the Olympics like China does. Even the most anti CCP viewers admits that the 2008 Olympic opening ceremony in Beijing is still the best.

With the boat it was unique idea, but quite boring. Every country were separate. In a stadium they would stand all together, but what was that? So much woke and weird dancers! The Beijing opening show is still one of the best show. And some live streams on YouTube just show for hours the audience, wtf is that? Everything in the west is declining.

The Macy Thanksgiving day parade is way more put-together, better produced, and much less chaotic, even in the rain. And I would say much more enjoyable.
Not commenting if it was good or not. The fact is everyone there in person for the opening ceremony could not see the whole show for themselves except if they were near a TV. It took place in different places. That's because the "stage" was small and easily controlled. London they just let the performers run amok because they knew the couldn't stage an actual performance.

The boats were cool. The assassins creed person was cool and the initial red/white/blue fireworks on that bridge was cool. Everything else was ok to bad. I hate to hate, but it was too woke.

Be prepared for 2 more rounds of woke with US and AUS.

Also does anyone know where I can watch the CCTV5 broadcast outside of China?
