I don't care so much about fallout like others. But seeing the show completely shit on West coast lore while putting in all that Bethesda marvel tier crap is petty, tactless and frankly disgusting.

East coast lore sucks. Suck it Todd.

I prefer the East coast lore from FO3, but the last episode of the show really ruined it for me. Moldova, the feared raider warlord, is actually leader of the NCR? WTH? That makes no sense whatsoever.

The thing with Fallout is that the setting was a satirical take on where the US would be going if the issues identified by the creators of the setting (capitalism, industrial military complex, political corruption, manifest destiny) played out logically. The reason it's more and more similar to the reality we are seeing today is because none of those issues went away.

The latest EP(4) of the Fallout TV show basically confirms that the Chinese were in the midst of developing their own power armor, and if what the PLA soldier said in the show is true, then it would seem to be almost complete. Too bad the bombs dropped before they could fully develop it.

I think there's a not-so-small chance that we might see more Chinese tech in Fallout 5.
