I got straight As in high school and graduated in three years and was "valedictorian" and I applied to Berkeley and got rejected. I was the black sheep and didn't care because I wanted to get into film anyway. My three sisters graduated Berkeley and now two of my nephews... one to MIT and the other at Stanford on scholarships. I had a long ago relative be one of the first Chinese to go to Stanford and he then went back to China to start a school.

Our high school, which used to rank top 100 amongst public schools in the U.S. when I was around, had IB programs which is basically AP on steroids. I think their classes counted as 6 out of 4.

Asian?y daughter qualifies..she's half Filipina. In fact she got some award when she graduated from Berkeley and gave a speech in Tagolog.

Well we shan't be surprised. This forum is full of intellectuals and quality people, so in fact I'm proud to be part of this community because I've learned so much than ever before. With people like Martian and Deino(just some examples) around, it won't be a surprise we have some 138 IQ people amongst us. Although of all that, in the end the majority of it still comes down to hard work. (written in my psyc text)

Anyways good luck y'all for the new semester! Start new and work hard!! If not popeye may ban us someday for being too stupid for this forum! XD
