She got a full boat scholarship because she's brainy..plus having an 4.1 GPA since the 5th grade helps. Also she's recieved numerous grants starting on the day she graduated from HS. She's blessed.

Yep, I had friends with 4.5 GPAs, but I came from a super competitive high school, so having a high GPA didn't distinguish you. I had friends with better GPAs and SAT scores who didn't get into Berkeley, or an equivalent school (and of course, there were the ones who got into MIT and Harvard and the likes). In California ,and probably other states, you get extra credits for certain advanced college prep courses..She took them and got A+++
LOL, My parents would prob like to trade kid with Popeye's too XDI have a few Asian friends whose parents would like to trade kids with you
It's no big deal. At some point the pursuit of ever bigger numbers in high school come at the cost of meaning and purpose, and intangible skills like creativity and leadership. I presume bd's kid was not that case though. Sometimes people are just gifted.LOL, My parents would prob like to trade kid with Popeye's too XD
that is so hardcore... getting more GPA than maximum that is.
