The ability to focus resources on key projects and, most importantly, to realize them is what puts North Korea ahead of Iran in defense development, despite the latter having a richer budget and being more open.

Where's the proof of "North Korea ahead of Iran in defense development"?

If DPRK will achieve true HALE ahead of...most of the world sans US/China/Israel, won't it be hilarious...

It's very strange for me. How did DPRK successfully develop an exact copy of US Global Hawk? It looks just the same. They stole one and repaint it? Anyone knows?

Some additional AEW angles. Apparently this was shown on KCTV, anyone has a link to the video?

Some suggests China sold one KJ-2000 to DPRK. Is that possible? It also looks same.

1) I think no one today can know how they did it,
what is certain is that they did it, they fly it and in this case they made an updated version.

If you go back and check the previous pages you will find satellite images and a screenshoot made from a video shot by a tourist departing with a commercial aircraft where you can see modification work on the IL-76, therefore I do not think that the Chinese sold a KJ-2000 to the DPRK.

That's not a KJ-2000, but that AWACS is almost certainly filled with electronics manufactured in China.

However, whether China knowingly assisted the DPRK in designing and manufacturing their new AWACS is another story.

There's a higher likelihood the DPRK developed this AWACS with Russian assistance as a part of the quid pro quo for the munitions and men they have provided Russia for fighting Ukraine and NATO.

Russians does not use or even seem to like the 3 antenna arrangement tho.

I'll be generous with you and assume that the circumscribed triangle in play is indeed indicative of a three antenna arrangement and that Russia as you claim "does not use" such systems.

Now tell me: does the Russian military employ every system that is available for export?

Moreover, "Russian assistance" (which is the exact verbiage from my post) does not necessarily translate to the employment or transfer of a complete system or even subsystem. The Russians may have simply provided technical advice that expedited the completion of an extant DPRK program.

Not going to go back and forth with you, so please keep the nonsense to yourself.

You dont make 3 black dielectric section just to use arrangement in A-50. A person with working common sense can see the differences between 2 antenna Russian A-50 with Indian A-50EI or Chinese KJ-2000.

You name it you can be sure it is more or less operational. Especially customer will usually prefer things that are in service.
-T-90 ? They use it
-Su-57 ? In service
-Kalibr ? In service
-S-300/400 ? In service
-Su-35 ? Obviously in service
-Kilo boat ? In service
-Iskander ? Of course Russians using it and they are available for export

No one really use "exclusive system" not used by Russian armed forces themselves in some point. Even if you want to include Su-30MKI.. well Russians use them too now as Su-30SM.

Chinese have way more experience and expertise with the design tho. You like it or not, especially the AESA's.

Oops i guess i popped some bubble.
