Recently, the first batch of single-point diamond lathes of Tianfu Xinglong Lake Laboratory , the supporting unit of Sichuan Engineering Research Center of Digital Materials, was successfully delivered, and the laboratory's ultra-precision lathe processing capabilities have been initially formed .

Relying on the processing capability of ultra-precision lathes, the laboratory has successfully delivered metal reflectors (cylindrical surfaces), nickel-plated processing mold cores (defocused mirrors) , infrared lenses and other products to Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Sichuan University, Chongqing University and other units, and all indicators have met or exceeded customer requirements. Tianfu Xinglong Lake Laboratory is equipped with a single-point diamond lathe , which is suitable for complex and precise optical surface processing, such as aspheric lenses, Fresnel lenses and ultra-precision molds. The maximum processable size of the single-point diamond lathe is 600×250×400mm (X stroke ×Y stroke ×Z stroke ) , the surface accuracy PV <0.1um , and the surface roughness Ra <2nm .

the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology officially announced on July 15 that it has developed a new generation of QRLED, which will revolutionize smartphones and TVs with ultra-high brightness and colorful displays.

Researchers from the School of Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology have overcome a major challenge in display technology by developing the world’s brightest and most energy-efficient quantum rod LED (QRLED) .

This invention achieves high performance in the following areas:

  • Record Efficiency: Converts electrical energy into light more efficiently than ever before, achieving an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 24%, compared to 22% in previous models.
  • Brightness per unit of energy: Produces 89 cd A⁻¹ (candela per ampere), a measure of brightness per unit of energy, exceeding all existing QR LEDs .
  • Ultra-bright output: 3 times brighter than older green LEDs , reaching a peak brightness of over 500,000 cd m⁻².
  • A leap in lifespan: Demonstrated operational stability of over 22,000 hours, making the technology suitable for commercial display applications.

Cambrian adjusts its private placement plan to raise 3.985 billion yuan to increase investment in large-scale model chips and software platforms​
