Why you even upset?

This is just history, living history.

Imperialism only leads to war. Mao believed in that.

The kind of imperialism that America practices today, only seems half-assed, and more failures than successes.

Full-assed imperialism is not accepted nowadays. That is why the CIA all for regime change, and keeping others under the American technological boot, and financial boot.

China's answer is pretty simple.

On the technology front, offer a better deal. On the financial/economic front, offer a better deal.

That is all that matters. Those numbers reported in the press are pretty darn important. Those numbers and tech stories tell what kind of offer China is capable of.

Just get to work.

Does anyone know what are China's plans for maglev? I saw some articles vaguely mentioning maglev lines are planned but can't find much about it.

The so called Chinese 600kmh maglev under development seems to be very very far behind Japan which already broke 600kmh in tests.

China's rise is more or less guaranteed. For China not to rise is simply against the economic holy books of modern Era.

Seriously though, the threat of cyber attacks on Ant and other fintech companies are good. Then these companies would be able to constantly work on improving their security and reliability.

Why is very very far? With this logic the 20years old TGV which run at 587 km/h is superior to last years Fuxings? Japan needs to put in use this shuttle. Or never happened

That's not the appropriate response as perfect security is impossible to achieve and performs no deterrence. The appropriate response is that if Ant's service is "degraded" for a few weeks then the US goes without electricity for a few weeks.
