This Report basically confirms some research i did which showed that the 14nm FAB business only contributed 2% to SMICs revenue.

I think now that SMIC is a Public Listed company on the Stock Exchange in Shanghai means that it will have to provide figures to investors. This means even foreigners are getting to know more about SMIC.

I find that there is a lot of fake news in Western Media regarding SMIC. There are claims that with sanctions, SMIC will collapse, be strangled, be seriously damaged etc. This really reflects the personal wishes of the low IQ reporter.

In reality SMIC will become stronger and independent with its newly built FABs and once the 28nm FAB is built, it is just a small upgrade in order to move to 14nm Chips.
So, buy the dip?

But in 94 there is no digital economy Today we have digital economy specially in China with we chat you can go shopping buy food, order food from restaurant, get to the train and busses or call you friend , do banking transaction All it missing is digital money So you say overused or the future?
This kind of digitalisation happened in the 60s/70s, when the banks went from paper to mainframes.

If you talk about bitcoin and similar , then that is not compatible with central monetary authority, because the system revolving around the miners who hashing to make a non centralized hard to forge transaction database, and during the process in exchange for electricity they get bitcoins.

This is akin to the Papua New Guinea shell money, and that is not a centralised payment system as well.

Micron ready to sue CMXT for DRAM patent violation like it did to Jinhua. I guess US equipments will be banned to CMXT.

Still waiting for the first US tech company to be hit by Chinese government

There are alot of things Chinese government should have done already but didn't.

They got the domestic equipment right?

Just spend some money and install the full line of domestic equipment at top 30 or 40 universities across the country so students can hands on experience on training.

This way they can boast the largest semiconductor education in the world and output the most semiconductor students with actual hands on experience.

Not only that but would perfect their domestic equipment by now. Before industrial companies won't buy domestic equipment but government can ensure they got purchased and put into use in educational sector.

This would change everything.

They should have done it but didn't. They need to think outside of their mental box.

Doing something useful instead putting excessive on promo on made in China 2025 propaganda
