on November 15 that Southwest Jiaotong University published a blog post yesterday (November 14), announcing that China's first quasi-toroidal symmetric stellarator test platform (CFQS-T) has achieved major phased results. It is the first time in the world to use three-dimensional modular coils to obtain ultra-high precision "quasi-toroidal symmetric magnetic field configuration" , making China another country after the United States and Germany to master the high-precision manufacturing process of "three-dimensional non-planar modular coils".

the operation of CFQS-T confirmed the "quasi-toroidal symmetric" magnetic field configuration for the first time in the world, reduced neoclassical transport losses, and opened up a new way to optimize the magnetic field configuration of the "steady-state magnetic confinement fusion device."

The relevant achievements of this platform are conducive to people's recognition and understanding of cutting-edge physical problems in three-dimensional plasma, greatly improving the overall level of magnetic confinement fusion research in my country, and complementing the tokamak configuration roadmap, making important contributions to accelerating the research and development of magnetic confinement fusion in my country.

"The world's first bivalent mRNA vaccine candidate against respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, kicked off Phase I clinical trial in China on Wednesday, as an adult received a shot at a clinical research center of a major Shanghai hospital.

The developer of the vaccine candidate said that the adult participant was in stable condition and under medical observation after the vaccination.

The vaccine candidate was developed by Innorna, a Shenzhen-based biotechnology enterprise, with a technology platform whose independent intellectual property rights it holds. The clinical trial was approved by the Center for Drug Evaluation of China's National Medical Products Administration in June.

No vaccine against RSV has been approved for marketing on the Chinese mainland so far."

well the interesting part is, high end machine tools and aerospace equipment like high end alloys...

well the interesting part is, high end machine tools and aerospace equipment like high end alloys...

We do manufacture some pretty advanced laser machines. For example, the machines to laser the cooling holes on the turbine blades.
