This 180 meter long powerline is made from domestic YBCO superconductive alloy. It is designed for max voltage of +/- 375 V and max current of 4500 A.

20日,国内首条高温超导低压直流电缆在江苏苏州并网投运,填补了我国在超导电缆低压直流系统的应用空白,与交流超导电缆相比,电网线损降低约70%。直流超导输电技术的应用,为新型电力系统建设以及能源转型升级注入强劲的动力。

超导材料因其具有零电阻的特性,使其在电力行业中的应用成为发展趋势。目前,我国已在超导电缆应用方面有一些探索,但都是交流超导电缆示范工程。近年来,随着风电、光伏等新能源大量并网,同时以电动汽车为代表的直流负荷快速发展,直流电网成为新的研究方向。

文献数据显示,交流高温超导的损耗在3%—4%,而直流超导电缆的损耗只有1%—2%。“因此直流超导电缆与交流超导电缆相比,电网线损会进一步降低。”中国电工技术学会超导技术专业委员会委员古宏伟教授介绍。

2020年6月,苏州吴江区政府、国网苏州供电公司、江苏永鼎股份有限公司三方联合启动高温超导直流电缆示范工程建设, 在吴江同里中低压直流配电网的基础上,建设一条总长180米的高温超导直流电缆,连接起10千伏庞东直流中心站和泓晟塑胶科技(苏州)有限公司厂区直流配电房。

“这条超级电缆设计电压为±375伏,载流量为4500安,导体截面积仅为90平方毫米,相比于同电压等级下常规PVC铜芯电缆,截面积不到常规电缆的一半,但是它的输电能力却相当于20根常规电缆,同时导体损耗只有常规电缆的十分之一,在大幅提升输电能力的同时,极大降低电能传输过程中的损耗。”国网苏州供电公司设备部副主任杨晨介绍。

据悉,该项目使用的钇钡铜氧(YBCO)第二代高温超导带材为国产化材料,实现超导电缆系统核心材料的国产化。在结构上,该电缆在国内首次采用正负极同轴的方式,相当于2根电缆合二为一,是目前结构最紧凑的超导电缆。其好处是,相反的通流方向使得正负极产生的磁场相互抵消,实现完全磁场自屏蔽,从而消除对外电磁干扰,并且在故障状态下可兼具限流器作用,保护系统中其他电气设备,使电力系统更可靠。

The hub center height of the unit is 160 meters , which is equivalent to the height of a 53-story residential building. The wind turbine sweep area is more than 53,000 square meters , which is equivalent to 7.5 standard football fields.
