China paid this Wumao 500 million Xi bucks to shill for Chinese Super Computing so that the US will lift the sanctions.

I remember when Tianhe-1 was the fastest supercomputer 10 years ago you had the common tropes:
1. Just a prestige project, China doesn't have enough academics/applications to support such a supercomputer
2. Just a bunch of nVidia and Intel chips, it's not Chinese technology
3. China is just lying about it

10 years later you simply can't discount things so simply any more.

Huawei's unveiling event on Sep 25th will also be showcasing MatePad Pro 13.2

This is interesting to see. Wonder if it will also use Kirin chip. I would say quite likely.

Comes with NearLink & says something about 10 years of work in there. Quite curious

Let’s just pause a moment and look back at the series of technological breakthroughs China had since the beginning of 2023.......... On top of all that China also has incorporated advanced AI in its nuclear submarine so when all of its crew died last month, it still returned to port by itself in a major face saving triumph for the PLAN.
Wait, so a major accident did happen and all crew members died? So the rumors are true?

NearLink's latency is 1/30 ms vs Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency's 40ms. With Huawei's, sound and visuals are synchronized by a huge leap.
