KUKA is now Chinese. 95 percent take over was completed in 2016. they shifted almost complete R and D base in China. now after 100 percent completion KUKA will be delisted from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany soon. then will be listed in Hong Kong STOCK EXCHANGE.

Three major production Plants in Shanghai and Two institutes related AUTOMATION

Two in Guangdong province

one in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province

one in Nantong City , Jiangsu province

one in Chengdu
ggwp for KUKA.

why is Naura still allowing the US Akrion subsidiary to be independent instead of moving it back to China?

When it comes to foreign entities, even 100% ownership do not guarantee tech transfer.

There is Imagination(UK GPU IP producer) which Chinese company has 100% ownership on paper, but in reality they have ZERO control over the company. There is also Silex(Swedish MEMS)owned by Beijing Smeiic, the transfer of Silex's tech to Smeiic was rejected by Swedish authority. And there is alot more similar cases.

Because as long as the company physically located in the US,it is the US government has the ultimate authority to determine the fate of the company, ownership is irrelevant. Remamber Huawei's own US branch was prohibited from transfer anything back to Huawei.

Germany case is different.

China get a lot tech transfer from 2006 to 2018 time period from German firms.

same with Italy. Chinese firms get a lot tech transfer from these two countries in last decade.

i have long list. will post one day with details.

China's first self-developed shallow-water subsea production system was put into operation in the Bohai Sea.
The project will reach its daily peak production of roughly 410,000 cubic meters of natural gas by 2023. That can supply gas consumption of 400,000 families annually.

They are creating their Hauwei cloud for auto industry

We know that Baidu and Alibaba already have their own versions of this. The important part is to see who will sign up. If they can't get BYD, then it's worthless.

This is pretty important too. I think quite a few Chinese automakers are using Navinfo

I wonder how much tech transfer Midea can gain from this.
They had since a long time already owned most of Kuka. In essence, they were the better competitor, so 99% chance they had better tech too.

This is about cornering the market by absorbing and integrating the defeated. If anything it's likely Midea that will have to tech transfer over to Germany, if they want to retain facilities there.
