NFTs will be with us forever as a vital part of the digital economy covering everything from documents, to property to datasets.
Any digital file has the ability to become an NFT, allowing it to have ownership and providence.
Example: an AI company creates a datset of images of street signs, which are zipped, hashed and added to a blockchain as an NFT. This NFT can then be easily traded to other AI firms that want the ability to recognize those signs also.

That was one the more useful design i though about making it more cheaper to validate official documents. I had to spend a lot of extra money to make sure my land/house deed was correctly inputted.Yes they can be used for registration and documents. But is that where they have gained popularity.?
But i think if you can combine NFT, smart contract and central bank digital currency something like air BnB could be run on the block chain etc. Then the question will be do you want to run it on a block chain when a couple of servers and databases are good enough.
It's more a situation of create the capabilities and people will find a way to exploit it. Kind of like going from 4, 5 to 6G everybody will say but but 4g was fast enough why do i need 5 and 6g. Then they have 5G and developers will find ways to waste all that extra bandwidth.

The people that are paying large amounts of money for Monkey jpeg NFTs are usually “buying” it from themselves, or others that are in on it, when the inevitable huge losses occur when they “resell” those same NFTs at a much, much lower price will offset some of their capital gains allowing them to sell their own crypto without paying capital gains tax.
The more they pay for these NFTs (that are designed to go down in value), the less tax they have to pay.
I think NFTs + Blockchain would be great for government operations. In that case a person would be able to interact with the government only in the digital domain.
