New Type98/99 MBT thread

[challenge]

by now,everybody in military knew thre short coming of T-72 tank.and type-99 is basically based on T-72.with some improvement.making the tank more r less compatible to russia T-90S.
but Type-99 basic design flaw -carousel automatic loader still be retain,or do type-99G judging from the picture above abandone T-72 auto-loading mechanism in favor of bustle auto-loading ?
other short coming was her FCS.according to Chinese sales brochure it take something like more than 5 second(8sec.?) tracking to firing the gun, by contrast M-1A1 tanke less something like 3 second.(or less)
no wonder Pakistan MBT-2000,according to kanwa uses French FCS.

i wonder if 99G is even gonna be called 99G or not, cuz its really basically a new tank... different hull, redesigned turret, new optics, new engine, new gun, new armor, etc basically almost everything has changed.. u name them

or maybe theyll keep the name "99" just to not alert the west..

99 is a cool sounding number. Any double number sounds cool---44, 66, 77, 88. They should keep the 99 number and just keep adding letters to it.

picture show that T-98 has independent thermal sight for commander.is small box located on gun laser range finder?
since gunner sight already has a built-in laser range finder,why need another one?
some question, the tank carry MMW for detecting and tracking anti tank projectile,guide or non guide,but what is missing is the killing mechanism to destroy the incoming round.
but other interesting thing is multiply antenna,indicate some sort of battlefield interneting.

The US M1A2 Abrams is equipped with two thermal sights, which allows for hunter killer operations; the commander is free to identify a new target using his sight while the gunner can use his sight to aim and engage the previous target.
