The problem is that propellant is much easier to catch fire, often the explosive of warhead (HE) is more stable than propellant (low explosive). The warhead denotes (require supersonic shockwave) while propellant burns (subsonic deflagration wave).

Yes, you are right, LOL I was stuck in my early WW2 guns.

But yeah, i didn't realize how powerful modern HE rounds are, the 3OF-26 HE-Frag for the 125mm contains 3 kg of TNT or RDX; while the propellant charge is 5 kg of pyroxylin. the lethal radius of the 125mm HE shell is 20-40 meters; these things are powerful.

Pardon my ignorance, would someone care to identify what are all the protrusions on top of the turret and those blocks that are now over the main gun barrel? I assume they are all sensors of some sort with the laser dazzler ADS as well.
