type-99G has bigger turrent,than Type-98.
according to steven zaloga, the t-72 tank and t-64 has very cramp ,turrent are design for 5ft-4 inches tank crew.
with type-99G which has bigger turrent.mean greater elbow room.

Are you saying that picture is taken in china? Because I dont' think that 's related to the other two pics of the 2A6 supposedly on the chinese highway.

And I think it could be a mockup, maybe destined for a military musuem or something of the like.

roadwheels spacing are different
cruder than real Leos, also slightly different hull form

first i think its also a museum piece, but wonder why they have to have to transport it on a heavyduty load truck
also entertaining the thought that it can move on its own power, loading to and unloading from the truck by itself :D

looking by hull form and exhaust, this is definitely the thing we see on the previous highway pic

question is, what is this thing? mockup? realistic model? operational one off prototype?
