Re: New members introductions - New members Introduce yourselves

Well I suppose I should formally introduce myself too.

I'm not a new member per se, uhh i joined like middle of last year, but then I realized i did a typo when i typed in my username was supposed to be "blitzo" rather than "bltizo" which is why i couldn't come on for like half a year >.<

I'm ethnically Chinese, born in Tianjin
I'm 15 years old (nearly 16 which i turn in late june)
I currently live in New Zealand down under and i got to westlake boys high school... uhhhh... yeah what else can i say?
My name's actually Eric, I like reading, I don't like mushrooms in any form, i looove taylor swift =D, I.... am right now reading a physics revision guide. All I can think of =P

Bltizo, welcome. It pays to proof read before you post. I like to talk to people with different ethnic backgrounds to try to understand their views and to see if they know their bonds. Do you feel Chinese or New Zealander? And why?

Re: New members introductions - New members Introduce yourselves

Thanks =D

I feel more Chinese than a Kiwi personally. I have a diverse ethnic group of friends at my school, but at home i still have my parents and grandparents (on my dad's side) living with us. And I suppose culturally and traditionally I feel more Chinese but I have tried to integrate some kiwi culture into me but rugby isn't for me unfortunately =P

I also feel Chinese because of my political views in terms of China which I get from my parents and grandparents who share similar views with me (though they're much more "anti" and focus on some of the negatives of events and incidents which is bad to China while I'm more moderated and try to focus on both sides). My whole family is pretty nationalistic, but not extremist or anything lol.
I suppose I'm trying hard to keep my chinese heritage with me.

Hello, I am new here.

I'm a girl from Taiwan (age secret <3), but I've been abroad a lot.

I have become fascinated about Mainland China recently because of the massive hate wave about Tibet and Human Rights which I initially joined, but after looking deeper into the topics you could say I "switched over" (but I originally favour that Pan Green should stop acting as if Taiwan was not part of China on that matter!)

My screenname is a play on the news I've been digging through (I am not very knowledgeable, but I like to learn!), I myself now favour China's view in things, but apparantly if its not against China its "blatant communist propaganda" :rofl:

Just a reminder, this is a forum with a focus on chinese, and to some extent, world military affairs. Political discussions are prohibited.
