Hi im Derek Zhou, college freshmen from San Joes state. I just came to the United States and found this site to be very amusing. I am hoping to learn a lot about what people think of the chinese military :)

new member from taiwan

hello,i am a college student from taiwan!!
taiwan always has a question about identity with china,and the more strong china's military power develops ,the more strange taiwan is!!
so i choosed a course in my university about china's military policy!!this is my first time to know something about missiles amd other nuclear weapons,i feel so excited about knowing that!!
and for searching the information about LACMs,i find this forum,very happy to be a member in this forum!!
ps.i am not a native speaker,so maybe i have some grammer problems!!if i have any problem about my message, plz tell me!!thx

I am from the mainland China and I am interested in Taiwan's military strength but I think some information about Taiwan's military forces I got from the mainland's forums are not objective, so I want to collect the first-hand information of Taiwan's defence. Could we exchange information of cross-strait's military forces?

Opening a thread just for self-introduction ... quite unconventional but I'm sure our usually strict & no-nonsense mods will let this thread open because I'm sure they're all real gentlemen. :D

Welcome Cindy, good to hear that we have a lady in the forum now. Since you are major in military policy and I believe you would get quite a bit of good information on weapons such as missiles and stuffs from the professors there I believe, you could provide us with more infor on all these things.
