Hi Everyone,
I visit this site quite regularly but this is my first time posting. I am American though I was born in China. I am a third year student at the University of California at Berkeley working my dual major of Economics and History. I have decided to take an off year (so to speak) so I am currently in an exchange program at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and enjoying all Europe has to offer. I love travelling and visiting foreign countries. I have always been fascinated by the military and considered joining the US Army ROTC for a time. Dissillusionment with the Iraq War along with getting a girlfriend quickly put an end to those pursuits (at least for the time being). Nonetheless, I still have a great deal of interest in American and Chinese military equipment (as I am sure everyone else here as well). I don't know a whole lot about engineering and I have no experience in the military so to speak of. So in addition to learning more about military equipment, I look forward to reading about some of the prior experiences that other members have to share about life in militaries across the world.
