Heeh the northern population just keeps on increasing...We have one guy form Liethua and even one from Estonia if I remember correctly...and a fan of the quizz...my heart is warming up...

Hello everyone. My name is Ryan. I am from Hawaii and i'm currently stationed in Virginia Beach, VA at Oceana NAS. I work on F/A-18C and D Hornets (Lot 10 and up). I have visted Sino in the past but never really bother with looking on the forums until somebody on Youtube refered it to me citing more civilized and rational disscussions on Military subjects (because frankly, some members on Youtube who put up Chinese PLA videos are a little tooextreme and somewhat not sensative to some of the other Youtube members.) regarding China or other forces'. I am very interested in other countries militaries and how they work.

actually begun to notice what our goal is...to gain more mature and professional reputation and hope we dont fail your expectations of beeing place where reason is praised most in what comes to discussing military matters.

Hi Everyone,
I visit this site quite regularly but this is my first time posting. I am American though I was born in China. I am a third year student at the University of California at Berkeley working my dual major of Economics and History. I have decided to take an off year (so to speak) so I am currently in an exchange program at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and enjoying all Europe has to offer. I love travelling and visiting foreign countries. I have always been fascinated by the military and considered joining the US Army ROTC for a time. Dissillusionment with the Iraq War along with getting a girlfriend quickly put an end to those pursuits (at least for the time being). Nonetheless, I still have a great deal of interest in American and Chinese military equipment (as I am sure everyone else here as well). I don't know a whole lot about engineering and I have no experience in the military so to speak of. So in addition to learning more about military equipment, I look forward to reading about some of the prior experiences that other members have to share about life in militaries across the world.
