I joined this forum as I'm also a fellow PLA fanboy who has an interest in Chinese military equipment and history. I also collect PLA and NRA uniforms and kits. (currently have a completed set of 07 and NRA 88div, next kit type 21). I also have an interest in the semiconductor industry and I hope to visit/find work in China in the future.

I found this forum quite a while back but just recently decided that I might as well engage in the discussions here. I am very interested in topics regarding the PLAGF (especially infantry equipment) the development of the PLAN, urban planning (unrelated) etc., and frequently post PLA content on Reddit (), trying my best to promote the positive / real side of the PLA. However, I am not very professional or knowledgeable about the PLA in many specific areas and do tend to get humiliated by more experienced PLA watchers and naval experts pretty often. Joining this forum will hopefully teach me more about the PLA and give me a wider view of different opinions.
Also (a bit of personal info), I'm a trilingual fluent in English, Spanish, and Chinese (feel free to talk to me in any of them) who currently lives somewhere in the Americas. I'm "marginally" a Dengist (typical Deng Xiaoping fanboy), but my opinions do tend to fluctuate from time to time. I plan / dream of opening a new sub on Reddit dedicated to non-political PLA / China discussions where people can exchange (non-political related) views and ideas without being radical retards; hopefully this could become reality one day...

Being not a beginner, with years of contributions in various internet forums, as an elite poster it was only a matter of time before @stoa1984 would join Sinodefenceforum!
As a seasoned player and modder of various video games, including the real-time grand-strategy Heart Of Iron IV series video games, it was naturally his understanding of the Middle-East geopolitics and North East Asian military affairs that has lead to his international recognition.
Meanwhile, @1984 was then accused of nonsensical fabricated wrongdoings for posting obvious truth.

By browsing randomly google reverse image search, it was then discovered 2 weeks ago that indeed, edited CGI made several years ago had been circulated in all Chinese internet media!

And for a good reason.
Indeed, the edited CGI was the first to correctly assess and predict the color scheme of the coming Iranian space launcher's Safir-2 also known as Simorgh SLV.
The small edit was only a change in the blue color into an orange one. The color scheme of North Korea's Sohae Space Center.
And those who followed China's media were the first to report the prediction back to Europe!

Although not exactly a new member, this would be my first real post... There was an earlier post from a few years ago that went out due to electronic gremlins or gremlins of some kind but this is would be the real first post...
Wow and guess what... I wrote a earlier version of this post that was much more extensive and it got totally wiped out due to the charging cable of my tablet for some reason that was plugged in before the last minute that did not get proper contact or whatever, and did not achieve "fast charge" so whatever left of the battery got rundown really fast also for some unexplainable reason so now I had to do this post over and now I am totally mad and don't feel the same enthusiasm anymore...
So I think I'll keep this post short and brief, and maybe in a future post I'll try to describe and introduce myself to the for
