Fei Bao is the nickname of JH-7, Fei Bao in chinese means fly leopard. just like Su-27 nickname is Flanker.
J-10 nickname is Fierce Dragon,

Su-27 nickname isen't Flanker, soviets/russian never gave any official nicknames to their planes. Flanker is a NATO code name as they had hard times to pronounce difficult suffix as SU ir MiG...

I just wonder NATO only gave chinese fighter J-8 a code name " Finback ", the other chinese fighters haven't get NATO's code name yet.
but all chinese subs already have NATO code name - like Ming class,Song class, Yuen class, and " Xia ", " Han "....
about FC-1 and J-10 nickname are very close meaning in English, maybe FC-1 should call" Thunder " or " Xiaolong ", J-10 just call" Dragon ". any idea?

Yes, but Fei Bao is still the name of the FBW as quoted in the poster.
