majority of fighters used by the US now-a-days use slotted array.
Only F-22s, and a few f-15s and F-18s have aesa. The rest of F-18, F-15 and ALL F-16s have slotted array.

They won't have an all AESA force until 20 years from now.

what's the name of passive phase array radar on J-10?

My ranking of radar is
1)AESA
2)Passive Phase Aarray
3)Slot Array.

Western countries are using AESA now, Russia is bit behind using the Passive one. Slot Array is outdated by now.

J-10 uses slotted array radar. Slotted array is by no means outdated. Typhoon and Gripen still use slotted array, much of F-15/16s still use it. Same with all the Mig-29Ks and Mig-29SMT. And I think PLAAF is going the route of slotted array straight to AESA.

Or, to get the point across more clearly, only a few dozen f15s in USAF use AESA array. The rest of several hundred F15s use a slotted array. All of the f16 is USAF use slotted array. It really is a technogolical marvel that is still in its infancy, in a way. I'm sure 10 years from now the situation will be different, perhaps on both sides.

several web site claim radar range for J-10 is 130km,is this max. range,10 meter rcs or 5 meter RCS.?

I think that's for 5m2 RCS, since the radar on the J-11B has a similar performance.

where did you get that J-11b's radar has that kind of performance. The typical range for plaaf fighter is measured against 3 sqm targets (basically J-7s). I wrote on this before, J-10's detection range against 3 sqm targets is 150 km. The lock on range under STT is probably 2/3 of that.

at same 5m target, APG-73 can detect it at 84~96km,for APG-68 (v-9) is 66~80km.
if 130km detection range against 5 m target is indeed official, the radar has to be AESA.

T/R module for APG-77 for F-22 has output of 10 watts per chip.in contrast Russian T/R for MiG-29 is getting 8 watts, this translate into shorter range

Here are some numbers to give perspective:

The Frontal RCS of F-16C: 1.2m2
AN/APG-68 V5 (Old F-16): 70~80 km for RCS = 5m2 target
AN/APG-68 V9 (New F-16): 90~105 km for RCS = 5m2 target
AN/APG-80 (F-16 AESA): 130km for RCS = 5m2 target

The Frontal RCS of Su-27/30: 10m2
N-001 (Su-27S): 80~100 km for RCS = 3m2 target
N-001 VEP (Su-30MKK2): 90~110 km for RCS = 3m2 target
N-001 V (Su-27SM): 135~150 km for RCS = 3m2 target

if 150~130km detection range against 5m2 targetis official confirm.then it is possible that J-10 may have fitted with early variant of AESA.since it will impossible for mechanical slotted array radar to possess this kind of range.
BTW, according to air international,APG-77 can track outside the volume scan.what is track outside the volume scan?
