Chinese social media is a crazy bunch who got overly spoiled by Qin L price. Too many people convinced themselves that it will be 129.8k RMB for entry version.

Hesai has landed contract with Audi, GM & ford

Chery T10 SUVs got launched also. Pricing is okay, but not great. They are the most expensive of announced ones.

More likely 33%, the production of annual ICE cars will be cut from 1.5 million to 1 million. Legacy joint ventures just don't do well lately.

More and more automobile market research companies predict that China will dominate the auto markets in the world. I guess one of the reasons is that China's EV makers spend so much on R&D.

Chinese EV startups are spending more on research than Tesla is​

• Chinese electric car companies are outspending Tesla and traditional fuel-powered cars on research and development as a ratio to sales.

seriously, the Huawei non-Lidar ADS is way over priced. Don't compare your Lexus to this. Chinese market works on a wholly different economics.

Expect this to be more and more common in China. If you look up the Dolby Atmos for automobiles, most of the Tier 1 Licensees are Chinese companies both streaming companies and Carmakers (including Geely group brands of which Zeekr is one)

Nikkei is running a hit piece on Chinese EVs in Thailand, blasting the Thai government for an imaginary "oversupply" that is destroying Japanese car makers.


Articles like this make it really clear that there's no such thing as a neutral newspaper. Even a supposedly "business newspaper" like Nikkei. They all serve political purposes.
