I remember seeing wagon model in development, have they dropped it? I think it's interesting BYD hasn't got wagon model yet, considering so many different models on sale now.

Xiaomi Su7 got unveiled today, looks really great.

imo, a lot of impressive tech here and I'm not even going to bother looking at ADAS, because everything else looks really good, you know the stuff you'd expect in a EV

In contrast to M9, it looks like better tech and at likely lower price point

It's electric motor efficiency and such is top notch. Battery thermal performance & CTB utilization is quite top notch
Xiaomi Su7 is a genuinely nice looking car. I think it is one of the best looking Chinese electric sedan, better than the Han, Et7, 007 and S7.

Tesla model 3 demand in China has dried up, look at this

Zhengzhou BYD plant is huge and 98% automated

U9 video, releases some interesting nugget. I was concerned before that battery pack is just 80kWh and range just 450km, but looks like it's actually 100kWh and range of 700km CLTC (which means probably 500km in real world lol)

BYD getting a bunch of foreign media visitors

Chinese battery storage maker CATL – the world’s biggest – is set to reduce the cost per kWh of its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells by a stunning 50 per cent by mid 2024.
vice president of Leapmotor Cao Li, who currently purchases the cells from CATL for RMB 500/kWh, said he believes the price could drop further to RMB 320/kWh.

excellent analysis
