BYD's vertical integration is unparalleled, as explained by Sam Evans/Electric Viking and a few others, thus BYD can make vehicles at lower cost and with greater efficiency than other EV brands. And they're expanding production capacity in Zhengzhou. Besides cars, their electric buses are operating in South America and testing and Europe and Australia. Indeed, what a company!

Working for my Japanese company in renewable energy, I tried to contact BYD for collaboration but they just ignored me

One thing I don't understand, Seres is headquartered in the USA, but the parent company is Chongqing Sokon in China. So Where does Seres come from, USA or China?

Seres is an ancient Latin word to describe where the silk came from, or the land that is the origin of the silks. Keep this in mind, Seres is the first Western word to describe China.
