New hydrogen fuel engine platform has been developed at Dongfeng. They seem more committed here than anyone else in China
BYD signed agreement with TI to put RF1 MMW radar on its cars starting in March.
I'm disappointed by this. This really goes against their practice of supporting local companies. Then again, maybe they are sourcing from both domestic companies and TI (like they are doing with GPUs)

TI like Texas Instruments, I would have thought BUD rooms have done everything to avoid using 'sensitive' components.
Do Chinese companies not make MMW radars?
actually, looks like Fudi did make its own MMW radar here but is using TI chip
I guess BYD does intend to make most of their own sensors.
