MSRP for Europe will be 2x more than in China. Despite tariffs, Chinese EV companies can still make a lot of money in Europe. But this is partly because there is a deficit of affordable EVs from European OEMs. With no real competition, there is a lot less pricing pressure. Most of the affordable EVs from EU OEMs (sub-30K euros) are very basic compared to this offering.
That said, BYD had a pretty disappointing start in Europe with overpriced offerings. I suspect this will change if they launch pretty decent models at sub-30K. The new factory in Hungary could help with this.
