From the stuff i read on CNet about how competent Northvolt's workers are, this is a bad idea.

This reminds me of an old early 2000s era story about a Chinese machine manufacturer who invited a German engineer to help them improve their process, and the first thing he pointed out was all the dirty metal shavings on the floor and around the equipment, moral of the story was about how Europeans pay attention to detail and that's why they're better. Being about the 90s it was certainly plausible, but its still funny considering the state of European industry today.

Maybe Europeans should hire some Europeans to help them be more like Europeans.

BYD has entered Guatemala

BYD signing major deal with COSCO Shipping for partnership here

it turned out that the supplier complaining about BYD demanding 10% price cut is an American company by the name of Sensat that is getting 25% gross margin. Now that it has decided to wage war against BYD, let's see where Sensat is in 5 years.

So why doesn't BYD switch domestic sensor suppliers?

This is it. The game is officially over.

Looking back 10 years or 20 years or when VW and GM set up shops in Shanghai, no Chinese in their wildest dreams dared to predict what has already happened now. Automobile industry is the #1 industry on this planet, period. Therefore, China calling itself a developing country is a lovely joke
