The Suits will have an umbilical so yes. In terms of mission (Polaris Dawn) they will conduct some experiments. The man funding the mission even wants to use this Hardware to conduct a mission to refurbish the Hubble

The suits are actually made similar to US Mercury suits. Unlike what NASA is doing these Suits are designed with no mobility for the legs. Not an issue as in micro gravity your arms are how you get around your legs are just anchors.
They are probably going to have a higher loss of air pressure than the NASA models as all the modifications are to the upper torso.
Also unlike NASA these suits are custom made for the wearer. So each suit is a one off.

Recently, an article about the Artemis program has been spreading among international space enthusiasts.
It contains a lot of descriptions of issues,
including comments on SpaceX's Starship.
For example, it says that Starship, with 200 tons of fuel already included in its landing mass, is like delivering pizza with an aircraft carrier, and its payload capacity is not much stronger than Apollo's lunar module.
It's worth reading. To truly understand the scientific challenges faced by the Artemis program, a lot of relevant background knowledge in the field of space is needed.
If you read this article and immediately feel "I suspected this all along and now it's confirmed", it means you have a sufficient reserve of knowledge in the field of space.

Interesting read. The long and the short of it is that only real superpowers get to land boots on the moon, and the US is a superpower in name only.
