She's a funny comedianThe male is just average looking. I wouldn't say he's ugly.
The female on the other hand is absolutely too ugly. How did someone so ugly become an actress?
Um, Lt. Sulu was a major supporting character.
I never saw it to be inclusive with how hard they tried to please the Chinese and get it unbanned. They tried catering to the Chinese first before anything else and when that failed, they cried how it was China's fault they couldn't get into our market. Ignoring the stupid things the lead actor has said and the history of said characters they are playing as. If this is what the Asian Americans look up to then I pity them.
That's an oxymoron.Um, Lt. Sulu was a major supporting character.
LGBTQ... to boo
Not really. There are the leads (Kirk, Spock, McCoy) and then supporting actors, which can be further divided into major (Sulu, Checkov, Uhura) and minor (guy in red shirt you've never seen before....and won't see again). That's an oxymoron.
And George Takei's beef with Willian Shatner was getting the producers to cut down his role...Not really. And?And George Takei's beef with Willian Shatner was getting the producers to cut down his role...
I guess you don't get that Shatner reducing his role on the show goes against what you claim is a major supporting role. He was just a part of the cast not having a major supporting role. Apply your NOMAD logic here...And?
Don't bother, just please put this red shirt on and go and check behind that rock over there....
Bro, it's the case based on social media reaction on Weibo, WeChat, and talking to my Chinese friends here in Toronto which was quite surprising to me and disappointing to hear at the same time. It's a cultural preference and since I have been living in North America for some time now my mindset has been Americanized in certain ways so I have a polar opposite view on Simu Liu than our brethrens in China.where do you see that the Majority of mainland Chinese think Simu Liu is ugly? Lol please provide evidence. Also if China's censorship board is banning movies because the actors are ugly then they are even more ridiculous than I thought.
Perhaps your wife isn't Chinese but Anglo-Saxon westernized which is also answers whyYes I've read Weibo and various online chats, and I'm not going to interpret some online comments as the opinion of China as a whole.
For the banning comment, yes that was my mistaken read. However, I still don't think yellow peril was really a thing in the movie. They in fact addressed it directly in the movie.
my wife thinks he's cute, so there.
