Loved Dune as a kid, you can actually look at China taking on the role of House Atreides and the anglos as the Padishah Emperor and the Harkonnens as indians
Have you seen this movie yet? I don't know anything about the source material for this movie but since am a fan of Denis Villenueve from movies like Sicario, Arrival, Blade reboot etc.. I was eagerly waiting for this movie's release and all am going to say is that the movie....

I just saw Dune on HBO Max. What I didn't like about David Lynch's Dune was how everything had a early 20th century World War I sort of steam punk look. This one looks what "modern" sci-fi would see. Even though overall I like what I saw, it moved a little slow especially towards the end. I guess because it's a two-parter and the end was more like filler so the more exciting happen in part 2.

If they're mad then we must be doing something right. They can change the wiki as much as they want but for all I care you can't the fact that the Chinese pushed back the American-led UN force all the way to a stalemate lol.

The Wikipedia page on the Battle of Chosin Reservoir is pathetic. It somehow tries to paint it as some sort of US/UN victory when it is clearly a defeat. Regardless of losses the Chinese pushed them out of North Korea and North Korea still exists to this day.

North Korea, Communist Vietnam, Afragastan, etc. All these failures yet they keep saying they were victorious. I had someone tell me the Afragastan retreat wasn't a loss rather that it showed how dedicated the US military was to spend 20 years in a foreign land and fighting, wtf? If someone can spin that catastrophe into a win then changing the wiki because they were shown a loss in a movie from a real event is nothing to them. Honestly, this whole wiki thing is embarrassing. They care that much for a Chinese movie that isn't even released in the west. The declining superpower really is desperate for any win.

Have anyone here watched Changjin Hu? What is your opinion? I've watched some reviews on it online by Guan cha channel and they think it's only so so.

Is there any way to watch it outside china?

This State Sponsored TV show called Medal of the Republic has offered an far higher production quality than ChangJin Hu with a lot less cost, the first several episodes is based on real war hero Li Yan Nian from Korean War. this show has a more realistic explanation of the tactics of the PLA and how they managed to defeat the far more technically advanced UN troops with swift strategy, sheer human will power, and strict discipline under very capable leadership. Unlike in ChangJin Hu there are more of so called "human wave" scenes, and Hollywood blockbuster style action sequences, this is why ChangJin Hu is out shined right now
