My vote is still Christian Bale from the Dark Knight movies and Heath Ledger is still by far the best Joker as well.

Who plays Batman is like who's playing James Bond. People have their favorites but it's accepted that different people will be playing Batman. What I liked about the Ben Affleck Batman and not necessarily because it was Ben Affleck was he killed bad guys without a thought. Previous incarnations were more discriminatory. Batman is a vigilante. Vigilantes do what they do because they think the police haven't done enough. If you have a vigilante that has morals, then don't complain about the police. There's a contradiction there.

Agreed, and that's the reason I liked BVS. It was a more gritty superhero movie than the MCU. I never really liked the idea that Superman and Batman stuck to these unrealistic ideals even though they were pitted against some of the darkest forces in the universe.
I wish Snyder was able to release his version of Justice League, because the version we got in theatres seemed like only half a movie.

I just came back from the Meg. It was alright but just don't have high expectations. It's not Jaws nor like some critics said at the level of a Sharknado movie. Yeah it could probably have been more gory. Supposedly Jason Statham said this wasn't the movie pitched to him which was supposed to be Rated-R not PG-13. Warner Bros apparently edited the movie to be less gory.
The Meg was shot in NZ in 2017.My friend did a selfie shot with Jason Stratham who hd come into his cafe for a coffee. He should not have asked Li Bingbing who was the only good thing in the movie.
I had seen Crazy Rich Asian, big disappointment. The opening started well with Michelle Yeoh but ended up more like a African American comedy.

Apparently it was loosely based on the experience of Singapore immigrant Kevin Kwan in Houston area Equation where are you? I haven;t seen the movie and likely will not see this movie but it got rave review and become block buster
I don;t know what is so special about this old Elvis song "can't help falling in love"
