The only King book I read was 'It" I sorta liked it but disappointed with the movie.I notice there has been a remake of the movie and I'm undecided about seeing this new attempt.

I have never been able to finish a King's book... it's just so boring... I do own a couple of movies based on his books. I mainly use them as my insomnia cure all...

Marvel's Inhumans is starting next month on ABC. I'm not familiar with the Inhumans, but am interested to see how it is... I'm keeping an open mind...

Netflix is now showing Defenders. I can't wait to see it. I love their Dare Devil and Jessica Jones, not so much about the Iron Fist. I absolutely enjoyed the version of the Punisher in the Dare Devil. Can't believe they haven't given the Punisher his own show yet... Haven't seen Luke Cage.

I'm biting my nail while waiting for the GoT to finish its season so that I can buy the whole season and binge watch it (too expensive to buy episode-by-episode and we don't have HBO).

Also The Man in the High Castle on Amazon is also an awesome show. Very thought provoking...

what you should do, is get an audio version of his stories from you tube where there is a great selection.Cordless headphones is a must though to prevent partner/wife complaining.You can then lie there with your eyes closed and drift off to sleep easier.

My wife would not mind drifting off with the sound of people being slaughtered in the background. She loves horror movies. She was the one who insisted on buying those King's movies. And we always end up falling asleep together watching them...

Ironically, there is a King book called "Insomnia", and I swear, it's true cure for insomnia!

I typically am a fan of the superhero genre however for some strange reason I haven't really gotten intoThe Defenders!

I've watched all of JJ, LC, IF and DD but the Defenders, at least the first couple episodes this far just have not done much to garner my interest.

the first episode was just downright boring IMHO.

The only thing with Kings audio books is that I have to start from chapter two several times as i have usually fallen asleep by chapter three.

Over the years and regularly playing movies or audio books and letting it run while sleeping, those scenes described in the audio can appear in ones dreams. This happened to me in Kings 'The Stand' and the 'wizard of Oz movie'

It got me thinking , wouldnt it be neat if the technology came about that let one become a virtual participent in the film or computer game. Just try watching splatter/horror movies then when you think your own life is at stake.
