Monkeypox Outbreak 2022 Thread
Maybe it will make things worse, no sex with "woman" might mean more sex with men in the bi-sexual population.
France just had its first children patient of monkeypox:
"According to the local media, health authority of the Île-de-France region confirmed the country's first children case of monkeypox on June 25. The patient is a primary school kid and in stable condition. There have been more than 300 cases confirmed so far in France."

How is this thing being spread around in the first place? From my initial reading about the monkeypox you'd be forgiven to believe that the virus would be spread from an exchange of bodily fluids which denotes some sort of close physical interaction a.k.a. sexual contact. And the first western infected individuals were male, and are members of the LGBTQ family. But because the current political discourse in the west is very sensitive towards that group the media minimized the reporting or the emphasis that most if not all of the prior cases were coming from these group.
However, according to the latest reporting that the virus has mutated to the degree that's it's spread has not been limited to what's been previously known which should be a concern for the group of experts that are looking into the virality of this virus.
After WHO declared a few days ago that Monkeypox wasn't an international public health emergency, WHO is asked to reconvene to reassess the evolving situation. Pretty much that Monkeypox is out of control and spreading much faster and more widespread than they thought.
Many reports of kids being affected also. It's obviously not just sexual contact, but physical and airborne too. There is a massive under testing outside the gay community, that's why it seems like a sexually transmitted disease.
Might not be airborne, could be from fluids (say kisses).
