I guess if a police officer came up to me, I guess the best way to prevent a beat down is simply do as he says (the person in question is said to have been drunk and violent though the beat down shouldn’t be justified regardless). Still like most cases, the best way to avoid the police is simply not break the law and be sensible since most situations where the police is most likely going to get you ass kicked back is if you are a drunken bogan coming home from a footy match where his team lost badly and he decided to go a visit a strip club
