It's already causing further effects in Latin America:
The Pentagon, in a significant shift, said Tuesday that it will send M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine by the fall, after facing scrutiny for initially saying it could take a year or two to procure the powerful weapons and get them to the battlefield.
The new plan calls for refurbishing tank hulls already in the U.S. arsenal, officials said. President Biden, under , agreed to pledge 31 M1 tanks as part of a long-term arrangement that afforded German leaders political cover so that they could approve the immediate provision of Leopard battle tanks.
I wondered why the US initially opted to produce 31 brand new M1A2s to give to Ukraine instead of just refurbishing 31 of the thousands of their old M1A1s in storage. Is it US law? Lobby from the MIC? Or is it just a poorly thought-out plan?Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesman, said that when the United States promised to provide Ukraine with the Abrams, the intent was to provide its more advanced variant, the M1A2. But, he said, officials continued “exploring options to deliver the armored capability as quickly as possible” and settled on refurbishing older M1A1 variants, allowing for expedited delivery. He did not clarify where it found those hulls in the American arsenal.
“This is about getting this important combat capability into the hands of the Ukrainians sooner rather than later,” Ryder told reporters during a news conference.
Both versions of the tank have a 120mm cannon and machine guns, while the M1A2 typically also includes digital controls, improved sensors and a thermal viewer for the tank’s commander.

Seeing Honduras getting their way means people are already less afraid of US.
Everything, Everywhere, All at OnceIt is pretty much the geopolitical equivalent of a bank run. If they can't stem the flow now maybe even the Europeans will have second thoughts.
Junior partnership means one partner makes the decisions while the other follows. The Russian China partnership has not shown any dynamic that would indicate an unequal partnership, so your claim remains an unadulterated fantasy.
a member of a group who has less power or influence than other members. ()
I'm sorry, but what you described is "vassalage", not "junior partner". Vassalage is when the suzerain gives orders and other follow. Junior partner is when one party has less influence or power than the other. It doesn't imply recieving and obeying orders like a vassal, which is what you are conflating.
Official definition of junior partner:
So going by this official definition, we can say Russia is slowly evolving to becoming an economic junior partner of China, while in military and diplomatic sphere, Russia is still fully independent of China.
It would be better if Trump allows himself to get arrested. There is like 5-6 other cases and being indicted over this lesser charge would be politically better. Given the concerns over the statue of limitation, feds refusing to prosecute the misdemeanor, then NYC hiking it from a misdemeanor to a felony..
