I wondered why the US initially opted to produce 31 brand new M1A2s to give to Ukraine instead of just refurbishing 31 of the thousands of their old M1A1s in storage. Is it US law? Lobby from the MIC? Or is it just a poorly thought-out plan?
Nevertheless, the US have reverted to refurbishing M1A1s to give to Ukraine. In order to speed up delivery. Why? Did the US just realized that Ukraine is in serious trouble?
It is pretty much the geopolitical equivalent of a bank run. If they can't stem the flow now maybe even the Europeans will have second thoughts.

I'm sorry, but what you described is "vassalage", not "junior partner". Vassalage is when the suzerain gives orders and other follow. Junior partner is when one party has less influence or power than the other. It doesn't imply recieving and obeying orders like a vassal, which is what you are conflating.
Official definition of junior partner:
So going by this official definition, we can say Russia is slowly evolving to becoming an economic junior partner of China, while in military and diplomatic sphere, Russia is still fully independent of China.

I'm curious, what do you think power and influence means?
In what firm are you a junior partner and don't need to follow the decisions of the senior partners?
I mean if you look up the way feudalism works, vassals are pretty much the definition of junior partners to their liege.
I guess it is confirmed. This arrest is a gold plated platter for political ads and fundraising for 2024 while also providing skepticism for the future indictments.
