Algorithms are controlled technology and need government approval before sale.

Tiktok losing the 300 million or so customers in America will be a setback, but with far more people than that in developing countries able to take up the slack, the main achievement would be that Americans become more isolated from the world, and that the authoritarianism of Washington becomes more apparent.

It would provide a good reason to hit Zuckerberg's domain as well. The ban on NSA affiliated organisations must proliferate further. Anti American sentiment in some countries can be used as a stepping stone.

During a few years of the Internet's beginning, there were few alternatives to American government funded websites. Now, that is not the case. Chinese, Russian and local initiatives can take over every single role, and in many ways, these platforms are more well developed and user friendly.

My girlfriend personally knows a few people who were denied studying post-grad STEM degrees in the UK. It is quite interesting how the Sino-US rivalry is costing European countries their strong points. Germany's chemicals industry, the Netherlands' ASML, British universities (one of the few things that are not doing horribly in the British economy), Swiss banking, etc... All are suffering because of the US attempts to preserve unipolarity. A true cautionary tale of what happens when you attach yourself to another country at an ideological level.

I can't imagine a more fitting punishment.

A restructuring of their mental image is needed in order for supremacists to coexist with the rest of the world. National exceptionalism forms a core part of their people's self-identity. But nothing hurts as much as hearing someone else has done the same thing except better than you. When you hear that, you're not unique anymore- you're suddenly back to being among the masses. By annihilating their identity and pride, multipolarity will render meaningless their religions, their cultures and their histories.

It will be a painful and possibly fatal lesson to an immature civilization. Perhaps they will be able to make sense of their new place in the world after a century or two.

Chinese would 100% send even more, it's just that they want to slowly bleed the US in Ukraine, not a quick Russian victory.

Therefore, they are not sending more, not because they fear US stupid empty threats, but because of their own interest.

At about 6:10 they have the gall to talk about how the US can create incentives for Chinese scientists and engineers to stay in the US and not go back home. That's not going to happen because of good ole American racism. Race is a factor on who they trust. Another factor that no one in the West talks about is American ethnocentrism. Why is it not talked about is because most minorities in the West have had their cultures destroyed by their colonial masters meaning also they've imposed their culture on them. What separates Asians from other minorities is most Asians have their cultures intact. Why is it important for the West to have everyone in the world embrace Western values? Because they control what is of value and if everyone embraces Western values, the West controls them because the only way one can get what is valued is by obeying the West without question or challenge.

You know why loyalty is a thing the West has against Asians? Because Asians have their own culture meaning they have their own values the West doesn't control hence why they question the loyalty of Asians. You can say you embrace Western values but they'll never trust you because you have another culture you know of to fallback on. They like their minorities trapped without any culture except the Western values they want to impose because then they know they'll be in control. The trap of dumb Asians that they fall into all the time is they can say they love America and the West and its values but that's not enough. The only way they can trust Asians is when they have no culture of their own to fall back on and know only Western culture. The only way that can be achieved is when multiple generations will have passed only exposed to Western culture meaning the Asians that surrender first will never reap the rewards. They have to die into to stamp out any cultural values that can be passed onto the next generation. And do you think there's the promised land where the West will love you and trust you? Just look at Blacks and Latinos in the US who had their cultures ripped away from them for multiple generations. They only know Western values. And they believe they're the most disenfranchised people in the world... The West is worse than the devil because at least the devil will give you something when you sign your soul away to him.

It's a joke when the West believes rich Chinese would rather live in the West. They would've never been given the chance to start in the West in the first place. The West believes all rich people in China got where they're at through corruption. So why would they want to live in the West where they have laws against corruption and would prevent them from making money from the only way they know how?

I would rather live in China today than in the West, not to mention ethnic Chinese.

Poland and Ukraine only worked in GCI environment on hands me down tech.
the point i was making that Pacific countries like Australia, Japan, Korea are much more effective when you look at comprehensive defensive/offensive capabilities which is lacking in Europa.

instead of asking what US can add. ask what Germany will add if Germany truly pivots to Indo Pacific. do you realize what will happen to F-35 and B-21 production rates if Germany truly enters those Programmes with budget of Pentagon. The quantity and sophistication will scale up exponentially. Its Germanic politics that have kept Europa weak, divided and thats what Russia like about Germany. it still want to engage Germany but German political system too rigid at this point. Russia got lucky that it got German speaking president who has deep understanding of Germany and Israel. This Ukraine operation didnot property reflect the German way of fighting as it took too long to transition from Soviet to Russian systems. most of stuff is inexpensive modernization of Soviet tech and certainly not want train top tier skill people on those systems. Its better to have young blood for new system like T-14/T-15 so they can stay long term. 20 years of modernization to factory cannot scale up Su-57 it new extra dedicated space. do you think any other firm can create Ka-52M that maintain heavy loads at extremely low attitude flight over long distance. slight error or unreliability it will hit the ground or obstacle. margin of error is slim to none.
