None of their explanations make sense - the US worried about debris, really? LOL. Most likely they just don't have the capabilities to ensure a kill at that altitude. Imagine if they TRY to shoot it down, only to fail and embarass themselves, fragile American ego won't survive that.

Didn't the US pretty much clean house in Isreal regarding artillery shells. It would be hard to go to war without Artillery shells to fire.

Israel isn’t going it alone, they want to drag the collective west into the fight alongside them against Iran.
It would be very amusing if in its build up to start a hot war against China over Taiwan, America inadvertently pushed Israel into starting a war with Iran first, thereby dragging America into the war against Iran to ensure American military forces and assets in the region could not be stripped and shipped off to the Pacific, thereby weakening Israel’s American security guarantee.

Another point of irony is that whilst the anglos love to hide behind their allies and vassals as human shields (looking at you, Marcos), the relationship with Israel and the Israeli lobby is such that Anglo Americans wouldn’t think twice about sending five eyes soldiers to die for Israel.
also, two years after the taliban victory in Afghanistan, takiban coping with modernity has shades of The Office. 10/10 would binge watch it.

According to Cheng Ming-Dean, Head of Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau, two balloons similar to the one currently crossing the US were detected in Taiwanese airspace in Sep 2021 and Mar 2022, with the latter even hovering over Taipei's Songshan Airport. Yet, back in 2021, Cheng had assured the public that what people saw was nothing more than the International Space Station ISS passing by over head.
