I don't see PBoC preventing Russian sales of Yuan thus we will likely see more USD and US Bond sales from PBoC to preserve the value of offshore Yuan.

No but I can say that the US has easily spent about >100x times the cost of the balloon in this, especially if you factor the whole US government wasting their time on this

This whole balloon thing is stupid. It is meant to demonize China but people's attention is instead on how incompetent the government is to fail against the balloon. It has backfired big time.
