That AI-generated article alone is enough for me to think that at least 90% of the Western think-tanks out there should just close down their operations, and their former staffs can go flip burgers at McDonalds. Their jobs have become pretty much replacable by AI.

But there is one particular section of a sentence which I absolutely agree with this AI:

Apparently Guam is a country now. Good, that means China should work towards liberating Guam from DC's control.
Next version of GPT4 is coming out in weeks, way smarter and will have live access to the Internet...

But its just language model... doesnt really think for itself... although back in high school I would have loved a tool like this to not only do all my math and physics problems, but to solve them step by step and even show me the proofs etc

Once they start weaponising T-bills, no country will touch them. The financial consequences will be worse than loosing the domination of the dollars.

Its quite clear by now that there are powerful elements within the US ruling elite that are desperate to push China to war soon, before they loose their perceived existing conventional military edge.

The worry and risk for China to support Russia too overtly in Ukraine is that these elements in the US would then be able to use that involvement as leverage to push its agents and useful idiots in the EU to apply the same sanction regime that they applied on Russia against China - freezing and ultimately seizing state assets being the big one, but also effectively a trade embargo.

If that were to happen, it is basically trying to force China’s hand in terms of launching AR, because the economic costs would be equivalent to what China can expect to endure should or kick off AR, so there really isn’t much downsides left for China to just get on with AR.

China will not allow anyone else to dictate its timetable for AR, which is why it has thus far resisted direct military sales to aid Russia. But at the same time, China has been unusually explicit in its diplomatic support for Russia.

There is a very good chance that overt Chinese military assistance to Russia for Ukraine would be a prelude to actual AR, if not come after the start of AR to avoid tipping their hand in terms of their readiness and intentions for AR.

Miss Universe competition 2023:

Russia

USA

A few comments about the American representative:

I'm from the US and this is terrible. Looks silly, and is so heavy the poor woman can hardly walk with it on.

It's actually very America in 2023: - over-the-top glitzy & shiny, but hollow inside - top heavy, staggering on its support base - probably looked better on paper than in reality - ass.

O think Its about moonlanding?

She appears to be walking as though her lower back is sore. Watched it 4 times and cant stop laughing. Its awkward. Also, is there a hidden message in plain site? She has a globe above her. 1 world government controlled by the US? She should have dressed up like Uncle Sam.

Not sure if the costume is heavy or she's pretending to walk with weighted space boots on the lunar surface.

She walks like Biden!

This is the state the USA is at. Late stage empire decline. And advancing fast.

...what in the heck is that. Its so overengineered one can barely appreciate the person underneath.

It is objectively bad and I think even an American nationalist would think so too.

Surely they could have done something much more muted and with a theme that still portrays their better achievements. Like Silicon Valley themed with bits of LED or holographic lights subtly included inside, sending a message of modernity and futurism.

Something we know they aren't, but which they want to look like they are.

Moon landing and poorly executed at that just screams "has been" power, with the 60s inspired decor completing the unfortunate look. This is likely the complete opposite of what the American government wants to look like.
