Oddly, if there is a fight over TikTok, if it is banned, those populations would be upset at their own government. LOL.

TikTok makes money for itself, but more importantly, it is a moneymaker for those influencers, who may be American.

If the US government bans TikTok, infringing on an American's right to make money off TikTok, expect a lawsuit.

Then in open court, the US government will have to convince a judge how a cat video is a national security issue.

Total cost will be around €30 million. I presume that EU will soon send 30 million plates to Ukraine as well to solve the hunger issue there.

And like all of these master plans that the USA has, it is going to fail and fail hard, they thought they could destroy Russia after the Cold War and Balkanize the nation and turn it into a cheap gas station and look at what happened how, and now they try to hit China all over the place with all these trade war crap and Covid and color wars, China is still going strong while the USA is only so far away from an imminent crisis of Bidens own making. Now let’s see how the petrol dollar holds up, if that goes, soon the influence the USA can use is going to take a huge shot to the groin. The USA knows how to attack but none of there actions have helped to shore up their internal economy and general stock pile and that is a fact that none can ignore. Also, Russia and China have yet to use their best weapons while they current plans to win The Middle East is already scaring the USA beyond measure. I don’t think USA is going to maintain this sanctions madness forever when they lose the dollar reserve status because how would they be able to pay and feed their military if they cannot buy anything and the USA has to resort food rationing due to the food supply already going south (all those food banks closing down and food stock piles going up in flames just this year yet no one really reports on it)

The platform store ban is not a big deal. You can just go to the website and download TikTok. Takes 5 minutes.

Alternative app stores (there are many) let you update.

I don't download apps on Google Play (I have Google services but don't use Google Play) and have no problems.

TikTok won't be available on iPhones, but Apple can figure out a way to open the app store. Otherwise it'll lose market share. iPhones are also only ~15% of the market in the first place.

US will do whatever they want within domestic sphere and the most die hard bootlicker "countries" such as UK or Israel. If neither the largest economy in the world can convince tiny north Korea to open up using friendship, nor the 2nd largest economy can convince them using threats and sanctions, what chances do we got to make America step out of its little bubble into the real world?
